UFC 300 Salaries and Payouts – MMA Salaries

UFC 300 (on April 13, 2024) is a highly anticipated PPV card scheduled in Las Vegas, Nevada headlined by a light heavyweight title fight between champion Alex Pereira and former champion Jamahal Hill. This entire card is stacked from top to bottom with 12 current or former champions including Zhang Weili, Justin Gaethje, Max Holloway, Charles “Do Bronx” Oliveira, Deiveson Figuieredo, and Cody Garbrandt. Hill had won the belt by defeating veteran Glover Teixeira at UFC 283 in early 2023 but was forced to vacate after suffering an achilles rupture. Pereira then defeated Jiri Prochazka to capture the title. Update: UFC 300 lived up to the hype with absolute bangers up and down the card. The BMF title fight between Holloway and Gaethje finished with one of the greatest knockouts in UFC history. Holloway, cruising to a victory, called Gaethje to the center of the cage in the last 10 seconds and delivered a sensational walk away knockout with one second on the clock. In the Co-main event, Zhang defended against Yan Xiaonan but the challenger made her work for it. Zhang nearly finished the fight with a rear naked choke early on but Yan recovered and nearly turned the tide in the later rounds. Zhang got a second wind and took over with grappling at the end to retain her title. The main event was spectacular as well with champion Alex Pereira knocking Jamahal Hill out cold early in the first round with a short left hook. Official bonuses went to Prochazka (POTN – $300k), Gaethje (FOTN – $300k) and Holloway (POTN, FOTN – $600k). Dana also mentioned in the press conference he would be “taking care” of others like Harrison, Lopes, Figgy, and Moicano – based on other locker room bonuses – estimate this to be $100k based on the elevated bonus structure for UFC 300. Assume Pereira will be taken care of as well.Assumptions:Assuming Weili and Pereira are getting paid PPV share as the champions, along with Gaethje and Holloway because of their drawing power.Assuming 1,000,000 PPV Views only for estimation purposes based on the drawing power of this card.Assuming several veterans, former champions are getting paid flat with no potential win bonus*Note that the official payouts have not been disclosed for this fight card in Nevada so the salaries listed are based on estimates of previous contracts, trends, and drawing power. Other assumptions are made like expected contract changes. All promotional compliance pay figures are based on the formula negotiated with Venum.Total Payout for UFC 300: ~$17,703,500 Venum (Sponsorship) Fighter payout: $403,500Performance Bonus money paid out: $1,400,000 (estimated)
