Odds: Volk is a 4 to 1 favorite against Korean Zombie at BetUS
Update: Volkanovski defended his title by battering Chan Sung Jung over 4 rounds en route to a referee stoppage. Sterling eeked out a controversial split decision over Petr Yan. The champion was able to control Yan on the ground in rounds 2 and 3 but the striking in Rounds 1, 4, and 5 appeared to give Yan the edge. Two out of 3 judges ultimately believed Sterling did enough to retain his crown. In a thrilling 3-round fight of the year contender, Khamzat Chimaev went to war with Gilbert Burns. Burns proved that he was not going to be a bulldozed like many expected. He knocked down Chimaev several times but Chimaevs pressure was too much in the end and he took a unanimous decision.
