UFC 272 Salaries and Payouts – MMA Salaries

This blockbuster UFC 272 card (on March 5th, 2022) features a grudge match between former friends and teammates Jorge “Gamebred” Masvidal and Colby Covington. Masvidal has challenged for the title against Kamaru Usman in his last two fights and come up short both times. Covington also has two losses to Usman with a lopsided win over former champion Tyron Woodley sandwiched in the middle. This card also features Rafael Dos Anjos as he takes on late replacement Renato Moicano. Dos Anjos was originally slated to square off against Beneil Dariush but the fight fell through after Dariush suffered a leg injury. Also featured on this card is the always entertaining Kevin Holland and the undefeated phenom Bryce Mitchell.

Odds: Covington is a 3 to 1 favorite at -310 while Masvidal is at +255 at BetUS

Update: Colby “Chaos” Covington was able to grind out a tough victory against Masvidal. Masvidal had his moments on the feet but Covington was dominant in the scrambles and with top control. Covington called out Dustin Poirier in his post fight interview. In the co-main event, Rafael Dos Anjos won a lop sided decision over late replacement Renato Moicano. Bryce Mitchell dominated Edson Barboza on the main card as well.
