The tide almost turned in the fifth and final round however as Diaz nearly knocked out Edwards in the final minute. Moreno was eventually able to submit the Brazilian with a rear naked choke to take control of the flyweight belt. In the main event, Adesanya put together a striking clinic against a game Vettori. In the end, Adesanya was just too much and he defended his belt.Moreno took a $50k performance of the night bonus and so did Drew Dober and Brad Riddell for their Fight of the Night. Paul Craig took home the other $50k bonus for his brutal dislocation of Jamahal Hill’s arm.
